The Problem: Equipment Build Up
Many health care centres, nursing homes and seniors’ agencies decline donations of assistive devices, such as wheelchairs, walkers, canes, crutches — regardless of the need — because of safety and liability concerns. They simply don’t have trained staff to inspect, refurbish, clean and sterilize the equipment.
The Solution
We pick-up donated pre-loved wheelchairs and move them to our warehouse.
We refurbish the wheelchairs by replacing old parts, sanitizing, and testing for the next patient.
We also make sure that the measurements, seating height, and comfort are perfect for the buyer.
